Marketing Bootcamp: Up for a 90-Day Challenge?

Is 2010 going to be challenging for business owners? Well, it’s hard to tell but I think January is a great time to start making headway with marketing efforts if you’ve been putting them off! Someone once told me that 90% of business goals that are written down are actually achieved. Wow! I believe that January is a perfect time to start establishing a 90-day marketing plan and to help drive revenues in the New Year!

So, are you up for a marketing challenge?
I’ll be hosting a marketing bootcamp at Outside the Cube in Mountain View starting January 29th, and I’m really excited to see how this program will impact business owners. We’ll work with businesses in a small group and collaborative setting with the end goal of a customized 90-day marketing plan that will drive business in 2010. Outside the Cube has set up special pricing if you bring a friend to this bootcamp. So, if you’re up for the challenge to do this bootcamp, invite a friend and you will receive 2 for the price of 1! The bootcamp will be spread out in 3 separate in-person sessions (2 hours per session), allowing participants adequate time to actually see their plans go into action and executed over the next couple of months. It’s hard to believe it’s 2010 and wow, are we off to a fast-paced year! Already, I’ve spoken to many business owners who are making marketing plans, business plans and ready to take on the economy by storm! Whatever this year holds, I’m looking forward to continuing to help businesses with their marketing efforts and think many of the concepts in my book can really set a platform to help a business grow and thrive in this economy. I am hoping this year proves to be a successful one for everyone.

On a good news front, I’m thrilled to write that has published a two-part excerpt series from my book. This is from my trends chapter and I’m very excited that they found this to be of interest to Entrepreneur readers. You can read the two part series on both positive trends and negative trends on their site. The first excerpt is entitled, “Put Trends to Use For Your Business”
and the second excerpt is entitled “Take the Bite Out of Negative Trends.” Both of these sections appear in my book and there are several exercises that show you how you can use positive and negative trends to help you increase your value of your own marketing message!
